Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a global score of 70, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Go's 66.5 global score. Galaxy Tab Active 2 is an older and thicker tablet than the Microsoft Surface Go, but Samsung managed to make it lighter anyway. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has Android 9.0 Pie OS, and Microsoft Surface Go works with Windows 10 OS.
Microsoft Surface Go counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a larger display, a much better resolution of 1800 x 1200px and a just a bit more pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a bit better CPU than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with 6 more 1600 MHz cores.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 takes much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Go. Both of them have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same video quality. Microsoft Surface Go has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a really longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Go.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Go, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface Go. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Microsoft Surface Go, giving up some specifications.
