Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Go, with a 67 score against 66.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a noticeably older and thicker portable tablet than Microsoft Surface Go, but Samsung managed to make it way lighter anyway. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active comes with Android 4.4 OS, while Microsoft Surface Go counts with Windows 10 OS.

Microsoft Surface Go counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 6,5 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab Active counts with a brighter screen than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a much smaller screen, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800 and a just a bit inferior pixels count per inch in the screen.

Microsoft Surface Go features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a way higher video quality and a lot better resolution camera in the back. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with a superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity.

Galaxy Tab Active counts with a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Go.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than Microsoft Surface Go, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface Go. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, else you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface Go, letting go some features and specifications.
