The Microsoft Surface Go has an overall score of 66.5, which is better than the Xperia Tablet S's score of 58.9. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with Windows 10 operating system, and Xperia Tablet S comes with Android 4.1.1 operating system. Microsoft Surface Go is a notably newer portable tablet, and it's also somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than Xperia Tablet S.

Xperia Tablet S features a processor that's very similar to Microsoft Surface Go's CPU, because although the Xperia Tablet S has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and more processing cores. Xperia Tablet S has a display that's just as good as the Microsoft Surface Go one, although the Xperia Tablet S has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, a lot lower pixel amount per inch in the screen and a quite smaller display.

The Microsoft Surface Go shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Tablet S. Both have a same resolution camera in the back.
