Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro has a score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than the Lenovo Miix2's 59.3 overall score. Although it's the best we compare here, Microsoft Surface Pro's design is older, way heavier and way thicker than the Lenovo Miix2. Both of these tablets include Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro has the previous 8 Pro version and Lenovo Miix2 has Windows 8.1.
Lenovo Miix2 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, a lot smaller display and a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The Lenovo Miix2 counts with more storage for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Pro. They have the same internal storage.
Microsoft Surface Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Lenovo Miix2, because although it has 2 less and slower processing cores, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and an additional graphics processing unit. The Lenovo Miix2's battery performance is just as good as Microsoft Surface Pro's battery lifetime.
The Lenovo Miix2 takes much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a camera in the back with a lot higher 5 mega pixels resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Lenovo Miix2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Lenovo Miix2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Lenovo Miix2, letting go a couple specs and features.
