Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro, getting a general score of 63.4 against 63.2. Microsoft Surface 2's design is newer, lighter and incredibly thinner than the Microsoft Surface Pro. Both tablets in this comparison review include Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface 2 has a newer RT 8.1 version while Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro, so it gives a lot of extra features.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a display that is just as good as the Microsoft Surface Pro one, they have the same number of pixels in each screen inch, a same size display and an equal resolution of 1080 x 1920. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro features a little faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has less 1.7 gigahertz cpu cores, it also counts with a graphics processor and a greater amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a battery duration that is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro one.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a way more MP back camera and a much higher 1920x1080 video definition.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs more than Microsoft Surface Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface Pro. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
