Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro, getting a 63.4 score against 63.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is newer, much thinner and somewhat lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro. Both tablets in this review use Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has newer 8.1 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro, providing the user lots of additional features and optimized performance.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2160, a just a bit better amount of pixels in each display inch and a bit larger display. Microsoft Surface Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 both have quite similar storage to store more apps and games, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has no slot for SD memory cards, they both have equal internal storage capacity.

The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with just a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has an extra graphics co-processor. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery performance in Microsoft Surface Pro.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 captures much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a lot higher video quality and a back-facing camera with a lot better 5 MP resolution.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, making it a no doubt choice.
