Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is better than Microsoft Surface Pro, having a overall score of 72.2 against 63.2. Both tablets we are comparing have Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro version, so it counts with some extra features. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is newer, somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than the Microsoft Surface Pro.

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a bit bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2160px and a little bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Microsoft Surface Pro feature very similar batteries performance.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 captures better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a camera in the back with a much better 5 mega-pixels resolution and a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs more money than Microsoft Surface Pro, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
