Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a score of 63.2, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface RT's global score of 58.4. The Microsoft Surface Pro body is a lot heavier and much thicker than the Microsoft Surface RT. Both tablets we are comparing have Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Pro has an older 8 Pro version while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT version.

Microsoft Surface Pro has a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has less cpu cores (although faster), it also counts with a faster graphics processor and 2 GB more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro has a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have a same size screen, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and more pixels per screen inch.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage. The Microsoft Surface RT's battery life is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro one.

The Microsoft Surface Pro takes better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface RT. Both have a back-facing camera with a 1 MP resolution, the same video frame rates and the same video resolution.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple features and specs.
