Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 has an overall score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's general score of 63.2. Galaxy Note 10.1 has Android 4.4 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro works with Windows 8 Pro operating system. Even though Galaxy Note 10.1 and Microsoft Surface Pro were only released 4 months apart, Galaxy Note 10.1 is noticeably thinner and a lot lighter.

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a much higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, more pixels per display inch and a quite bigger display. Microsoft Surface Pro has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an additional GPU and a higher amount of RAM.

Galaxy Note 10.1 takes slightly better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a back camera with much more MP. Microsoft Surface Pro features a quite bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is also cheaper.
