The Microsoft Surface Pro has a score of 63.2, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 general score. Microsoft Surface Pro is a noticeably thicker and much heavier tablet than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE works with Android 3.1 operating system.

Microsoft Surface Pro features a superior processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has more RAM memory and an additional graphics processing unit. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little bigger display.

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a much better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE captures better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video definition, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also has a back-facing camera with way more MP.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, resigning some features and specifications.
