Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro has a general score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s score of 60.7. Despite being the best in this review, it must be told that it is also a way thicker and noticeably heavier tablet. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with Android 4.1 OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot larger screen, a little bit better screen pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a greater hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has an extra graphics co-processor and 3 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) takes much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has better video frame rates and a way more megapixels camera.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a very superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
