Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro is slightly better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, with a general score of 63.2 against 57.5. Although the Microsoft Surface Pro is a better tablet device than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, we must note that it is also an older, thicker and a lot heavier tablet device. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro OS, and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids comes with Android 4.1 OS.
The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids and Microsoft Surface Pro both feature similar displays, although the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a lot lower 600 x 1024 resolution, a little worse display density and a lot smaller screen. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a better performing processor than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has an additional graphics processing unit and 3 GB more RAM.
The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a way higher 3 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back. The Microsoft Surface Pro has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 120 GB more internal storage capacity.
GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
