Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 V, having a 63.2 score against 58.5. Although it's the best tablet in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro design is a lot heavier and noticeably thicker than the Galaxy Tab 3 V. The Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 3 V counts with Android 4.4 OS.
Microsoft Surface Pro features a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, an extra graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a much bigger display, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a just a little greater screen pixel density.
Galaxy Tab 3 V shoots much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has slower 24 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (VGA) video definition, the Galaxy Tab 3 V also counts with a lot better 2 megapixels resolution camera in the back. Microsoft Surface Pro features a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V counts with a superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, letting go some features and specs.
