Microsoft Surface Pro is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, having a 63.2 score against 60.5. Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Although it's the best tablet we compare here, the Microsoft Surface Pro is an a lot older, notably thicker and notably heavier tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7.

Microsoft Surface Pro counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a little bit bigger display, a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a lot higher display density. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processor and 2,5 GB more RAM memory.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a superior memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, resigning a couple specifications.
