Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a score of 65.1, which is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019)'s score of 62.4. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 construction is noticeably older, noticeably heavier and a lot thicker than the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019). Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) works with Android, Amazon Fire UI operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with just a bit better screen than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little lower pixels density, it also counts with a quite bigger display. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) features a bit better processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores. Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) captures way better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality.
The Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019) features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.

So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019), resigning some features and specs.
