Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a score of 65.1, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 global score. Despite being the best in this comparison, Microsoft Surface Pro 2's body is incredibly heavier and much thicker than Huawei MediaPad M1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with Android 4.2.2 OS.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a just a bit worse pixels density, a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800px and a lot smaller display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a little bit better processing power than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has an inferior number of 1600 MHz cores, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
Huawei MediaPad M1 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up some features and specs.
