Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is just a bit better than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, having a 65.1 score against 64.2. These tablets come with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has the newer 8.1 Pro version while Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1 version. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a way thicker and incredibly heavier device than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a bit faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with a slightly better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a better display pixel density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 captures much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 have really similar battery durations.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
