Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT, with a 65.1 score against 58.4. Both devices in our current comparison come with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has 8.1 Pro version and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a newer tablet than the Microsoft Surface RT, but it's way heavier and a lot thicker.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also has a better screen density and a better 1080 x 1920 resolution. Microsoft Surface RT features a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU and a greater number of cores.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and the Microsoft Surface RT have really similar batteries performance.
Microsoft Surface RT features a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a way higher video resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, else you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple features and specifications.
