Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, with a general score of 66.7 against 65.1. The Samsung Ativ Tab design is a lot lighter and way thinner than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, even though it was released a bit more more than a year before. Both of these tablets include Windows OS, but Samsung Ativ Tab has RT version and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro version.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a processing unit that is just as good as Microsoft Surface Pro 2's processing unit, because although the Samsung Ativ Tab has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, it also counts with a GPU. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a slightly better display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a better 1080 x 1920px resolution, a little larger display and a greater pixels density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface Pro 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, resigning some features and specifications.
