The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has an overall score of 65.1, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s 65 global score. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a newer portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but it is way heavier and a lot thicker. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with Android 4.1 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a greater count of pixels per display inch and a little larger display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also counts with more RAM. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) captures much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video definition.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 2, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), giving up some specifications.
