Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, with a 65.9 score against 65.1. Even when Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch and the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 were released with only 4 months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is much thinner and notably lighter. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch works with Android 4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also has more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has more pixels per screen inch, a way better 1080 x 1920px resolution and a little larger screen.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
