Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, getting a 67.8 score against 65.1. Although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 were only released 6 months apart, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is notably lighter and much thinner. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit and less cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a better pixels number per display inch, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little bigger screen.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both of them have the same (HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
