The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has an overall score of 65.6, which is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2's 65.1 overall score. Even when the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 were released with only a couple months difference, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is way lighter and a lot thinner. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has less CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with 6,5 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a much smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1280 x 800, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels density.

Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots way better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both of them have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
