Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a lot better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, having a global score of 78.5 against 65.1. Even when Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 were only released 4 months apart, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is lighter and notably thinner. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 works with Android 4.4 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS.

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a much better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a larger screen and a little bit higher pixel amount in each inch of display.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
