Comparison review
Asus VivoTab RT has a global score of 59.4, which is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2's 54.2 overall score. Even though the Asus VivoTab RT is older than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, it's body is extremely lighter and way thinner. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Windows OS, but the Asus VivoTab RT has RT version and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro, so it provides a lot of extra features and performance improvements.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a bit better processor than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a bit sharper display than Asus VivoTab RT, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a higher display pixel density and a little bit larger screen.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus VivoTab RT and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 feature extremely similar batteries performance.
Asus VivoTab RT has a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot better video definition.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Asus VivoTab RT is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes buying this tablet an easy decision.
