Although the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is way older and incredibly heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's design is still thinner. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) works with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie OS.
