Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is much better than iPad (2020), getting an 82.4 score against 66.6. Even being the best we compare here, Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s body is notably older, a lot heavier and just a bit thicker than iPad (2020). The Apple iPad (2020) counts with a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because it has a 64-bits CPU and a greater number of cores (although they are slower).
IPad (2020) features a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a quite smaller screen, a little worse 1620 x 2160 pixels resolution and a bit less pixels per inch of screen. The iPad (2020) takes way better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). Both of them have the same video frame rates, a 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back and the same 1920x1080 video resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a much better memory to install applications and games than Apple iPad (2020), because it has 968 GB more internal memory capacity. IPad (2020) has a battery performance that is very similar to the battery duration in Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is way more expensive than iPad (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPad (2020). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), else you can save some dollars and buy the iPad (2020), resigning some specifications.
