Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot better than Microsoft Surface 3, with a score of 82.4 against 66.3. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) construction is incredibly newer and a bit thinner, but also extremely heavier than the Microsoft Surface 3. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a little better performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has 2 less cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has just a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the display, a lot higher 2736 x 1824 resolution and a little bit larger screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a superior storage to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has 872 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) and the Microsoft Surface 3 feature incredibly similar cameras, both of them have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same resolution back facing camera. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a battery duration that's very similar to the battery performance in Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface 3. If you want to save some money, you can get the Microsoft Surface 3, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
