The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is better than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, having a score of 82.4 against 72.2. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s construction is newer, just a little lighter and a bit thinner than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. These tablets have Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has the previous 10 Pro version and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) both count with incredibly similar screens, although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little smaller display, a much lower 1440 x 2160 resolution and a little worse count of pixels per inch of screen. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 488 GB more internal storage.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with just a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have 2 cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has 8 GB more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a battery life that's very similar to the battery duration in Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).
