Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, with an 82.4 score against 75.1. Both tablets in our current comparison use the same Windows 10 Pro OS (Operating System), so both of them should offer all the same operating system features. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a just a little lighter tablet than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, but they are equally thin.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a lot better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has more cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). Both have a display of the same size, a better amount of pixels per inch of display and the same exact resolution of 1824 x 2736px.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4's memory capacity to store more apps and games is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) one, they have the same internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) and the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 count with very similar battery performance. Microsoft Surface Pro 4's camera is just as good as Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s camera, they have the same video definition, a 8 MP back camera and the same video frame rates.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), otherwise you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, resigning a couple specifications.
