Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a general score of 82.4, which is much better than Microsoft Surface Pro 7's 66.9 global score. These tablets work with Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has newer 10 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has Windows 10. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a just a bit lighter portable tablet than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, but both of them are equally thin.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a bit better CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has 12 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 2 cpu cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a little bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). Both have a better amount of pixels per display inch, a same size display and the same exact resolution of 2736 x 1824px.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, because it has 1000 GB internal memory.
