Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has an overall score of 82.4, which is way better than the Lumia 2520's score of 68.6. Both tablets we compare here have Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has the older 10 Pro version while Lumia 2520 has Windows RT 8.1. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a notably newer and a little thinner portable tablet than Lumia 2520, but it is way heavier.
Lumia 2520 features a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse display density. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Nokia Lumia 2520, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage.
Lumia 2520 has a bit superior processor than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an additional graphics processor. Lumia 2520 counts with a superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). The Nokia Lumia 2520 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a camera in the back with a lower 6.7 megapixels resolution and a lower (Full HD) video resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Lumia 2520, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lumia 2520. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Lumia 2520, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
