Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a general score of 82.4, which is much better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 global score. Both of these tablets come with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has the older 10 Pro version while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s construction is extremely newer than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's, but it's notably heavier and a little bit thicker.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a bit sharper display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a lot higher resolution of 2736 x 1824, a larger screen and a much higher screen pixel density.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) both feature quite similar battery performance.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) takes better photographs and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
