The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot better than the Samsung Ativ Tab, with an 82.4 score against 66.7. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a notably newer and just a little thinner tablet device than Samsung Ativ Tab, but it is incredibly heavier. Both of these devices include Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has older 10 Pro version while Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a little bit better performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also counts with 14 GB more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a better display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a way higher 2736 x 1824 pixels resolution, a bigger screen and a lot greater count of pixels per inch of display.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) captures a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a much better (Full HD) video resolution and a lot better 8 megapixels resolution back facing camera. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Ativ Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Ativ Tab. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
