The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a noticeably newer portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but it's thicker and incredibly heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) works with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch comes with Android 4.2.2 OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have 2 cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also counts with 14,5 GB more RAM.
