Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a global score of 82.4, which is much better than the Sony Vaio Tap 11's 66 global score. Both of these devices include Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has an older 10 Pro version and Sony Vaio Tap 11 has Windows 8. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s design is just a little bit heavier but somewhat thinner than the Sony Vaio Tap 11.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Sony Vaio Tap 11, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has a higher amount of RAM. Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a little smaller display, a much lower display pixels density and a way worse 1080 x 1920 resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Vaio Tap 11, resigning a couple features and specs.
