The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a global score of 82.4, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's 65.7 global score. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is newer than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, it's somewhat thicker and much heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) works with Windows 10 Pro OS, while Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with Android OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because although it has 2 less cpu cores , it also counts with more RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a way worse resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). Both of them have a camera in the back with an 8 mega pixels resolution, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a much greater memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has more internal memory.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, resigning a couple specifications.
