Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has an overall score of 68.5, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 10.1's 66.3 score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Galaxy Note 10.1 works with Android 4.4 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is way newer, but extremely heavier and a bit thicker than the Galaxy Note 10.1.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a sharper display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2160 pixels, a better display density and a bigger display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with more RAM memory.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 5 mega-pixels, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a lot better (Full HD) video resolution.
