The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, with a 72.1 score against 68.5. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a notably thinner and lighter portable tablet than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, even when they were only released with a couple months difference.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a little faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster). Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1600 x 2560px resolution and a greater display pixel density.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 shoots much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is also by far the cheapest one.
