The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 73.3, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3's 68.5 score. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a thinner and lighter tablet than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, even though both of them were only released 1 months apart.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit superior processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores.
