The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), with a global score of 72.2 against 59.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 design is a bit thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's extremely heavier and was released 6 years before. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) works with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with 2 more processing cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a much better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2160px, a just a bit higher count of pixels per display inch and a way larger display.
