The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and iPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen) counts with iPadOS 15.x operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is an a lot older, a lot thicker and much heavier tablet than the iPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen).
