Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a global score of 72.2, which is much better than Asus ZenPad S 8.0's 62.2 score. Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better portable tablet than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, we must note that it is also older, noticeably thicker and much heavier. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a little bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with more cores.
Asus ZenPad S 8.0 counts with a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a greater screen pixels density. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a superior memory for applications and games than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a battery lifetime that is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 one. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
