Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is much better than HP ProPad 600's 58.2 general score. Both of these devices use Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has newer 8.1 Pro version and HP ProPad 600 has Windows 8.1 version, providing some nice extra features and performance enhancements. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's design is somewhat heavier but just a little thinner than the HP ProPad 600, and they were only released with a couple months difference.

HP ProPad 600 has a slightly better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a quite lower 1200 x 1920px resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater pixel number in each inch in the display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than HP ProPad 600, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

HP ProPad 600 counts with a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with 2 more 1.6 GHz cores. HP ProPad 600 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The HP ProPad 600 features a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because it has a much higher resolution camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HP ProPad 600. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the HP ProPad 600, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
