Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 global score. Despite being the best tablet we compare here, we must tell that it's also thicker and incredibly heavier. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little faster processor than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has 2 lesser 1.6 gigahertz processing cores, it also counts with more RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad M1 features a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, a lot smaller display and a lot lower 1280 x 800 resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with much more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 504 GB more internal memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates.
Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up a couple specifications.
