Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than Microsoft Surface 2, having a 72.2 score against 63.4. Even being the best tablet device in this comparison review, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than the Microsoft Surface 2. Both of these devices have Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has 8.1 Pro version while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 version.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a little bit larger screen, a bit more pixels per display inch and a better 1440 x 2160 resolution. The Microsoft Surface 2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with 2 more CPU cores.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory capacity. The Microsoft Surface 2 features a battery duration that's very similar to Microsoft Surface Pro 3's battery duration.
Microsoft Surface 2's camera is just as good as the camera in Microsoft Surface Pro 3, they have a back-facing camera with a 5 megapixels, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a little more than the Microsoft Surface 2, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
