The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has an overall score of 72.2, which is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Go's general score of 66.5. These tablets have Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 version. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is noticeably older, just a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier than the Microsoft Surface Go.

The Microsoft Surface Go's processing unit is just as good as Microsoft Surface Pro 3's CPU, both of them have a 8 GB RAM and a Dual-Core CPU. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Go, and although they both have the same count of pixels per screen inch, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a bigger display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2160 pixels.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much better memory for applications and games than Microsoft Surface Go, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Microsoft Surface Go's battery lifetime is just as good as Microsoft Surface Pro 3's battery life. Microsoft Surface Go takes clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Microsoft Surface Go, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface Go. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Go, letting go a couple features and specifications.
