Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a global score of 72.2, which is better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's overall score of 63.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is newer, way thinner and somewhat lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro. These devices have Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has newer 8.1 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro version, so it provides you some nice extra features.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a slightly better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a just a little higher pixel amount in each inch of display, a little bit bigger display and a higher 1440 x 2160 resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also counts with an additional graphics processor.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 takes much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a way better (Full HD) video definition and a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
