Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a bit better than the Lumia 2520, getting a 72.2 score against 68.6. These devices use Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has older 8.1 Pro version while Lumia 2520 has Windows RT 8.1 version. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 construction is a little bit thicker and a lot heavier than Lumia 2520.
Lumia 2520 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has 6 GB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster) and a graphics processor. The Lumia 2520 counts with a better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much greater memory to install applications and games than Nokia Lumia 2520, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Lumia 2520 captures greater photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Lumia 2520 also has a lot higher resolution back facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Nokia Lumia 2520, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Nokia Lumia 2520. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Nokia Lumia 2520, resigning a couple features and specs.
