Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has an overall score of 72.2, which is better than Samsung ATIV Tab 7's 64.9 overall score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than the Samsung ATIV Tab 7. Both of these devices use Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has newer 8.1 Pro version and Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has Windows 8 version.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much greater processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2160, a little larger display and a little more pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung ATIV Tab 7's camera is very similar to Microsoft Surface Pro 3's camera, both have the same resolution back-facing camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and the Samsung ATIV Tab 7 both have very similar batteries duration.
